ibis Styles Milano Centro

The facilities were decent, and the location is very convenient for nearby attractions and Milano Centrale, especially if you have an early flight. But the staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. I’ve had a very different experience with Ibis hotels in Dubai, Riyadh and elsewhere in the UAE. A receptionist called me and spoke in such a demanding way that I briefly wondered whether the call was really from the hotel. He basically said, “If you want the room, come and take it.” I’d already been emailing Customer care, but he said he knew nothing about what CS had told me and didn’t care. Then he hung up while I was still speaking. Maybe the gentleman had woken up on the wrong side of the bed, but it’s made me seriously reconsider choosing Ibis for future trips.

The only thing I’d change is the food selection. Vegetarian and vegan options were limited, and it would be good to have more choices across all meals. Otherwise, I had a good stay at ibis Styles Milano Centro. The hotel is in a well-connected area away from noisy roads, and the rooms and shared spaces were clean and well kept.

My balcony was the highlight of the trip. I could sit outside at night and look over the lively street, with Ristorante Sabatini right across from me. If you can, ask for a balcony room. The view gave me just the Milanese feel I was hoping for, while the room itself felt like a private retreat despite being in the middle of things. The room was clean and modern, with quirky design, a very comfortable bed and a handy digital safe. The location is hard to beat, roughly 10-15 minutes on foot from Milano Centrale and just steps from Corso Buenos Aires for shopping. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back.

The location was handy for shopping, with the central train station within walking distance and the M1 metro just a block away. Breakfast was adequate. The woman at reception was a bit rude when we arrived, though the rest of the team were helpful and friendly.
