There were mosquitoes everywhere, and old dead ones were stuck on the walls. The curtains were dirty, and there wasn't enough hot water for two adults. Internet stopped working for the last two days. The bites left so much damage on my skin that our whole holiday was ruined. A disgusting place to stay.

I had a late flight and reached the place after 10 pm, but the location wasn't clear and I spent 1 hour 30 minutes trying to find it. The owner wouldn't answer the phone. A kind neighbor eventually gave me somewhere to stay. The communication and coordination were awful, and I had terrible luck choosing this accommodation.
A disaster.
The Wi-Fi failed in both apartments, and the replacement place had the same mosquito issue. There wasn't an elevator on either the first or top floor, despite the building having five floors, and I spent almost €15 on insecticide and citronella repellent. After a sleepless night, Booking.com and Italianway offered me a different apartment, much farther from the center. I sent Booking.com photos of everything, but their only solution was to suggest leaving a review. I feel scammed and cheated, and I'm going to report what happened. Don't book this if you're hoping to relax. My weekend in Milan turned into a nightmare. First I had to collect the keys on the first floor of the central station, then make my way to the apartment. It was about 36 minutes on foot, or around 20 minutes by metro, followed by another 36-minute walk because the street was pedestrianized. Inside, the air conditioning was set very low. We didn't understand why, and turned it off because we were cold. The apartment was nothing like the clean-looking Booking.com photos. It was filthy, the walls were covered in mosquito blood, the only window was broken, and the thin bed creaked badly. There were hardly any dishes or utensils in the kitchen. The showerhead didn't work, so showering with the tiny, squeaky fixture was miserable. That night, after we switched off the air conditioning, we understood why it had been running: around 30 tiger mosquitoes were in the room. I killed many, but they kept getting back in through the broken window. It was awful to spend the night somewhere else with no one there to help.
The apartment on Via San Pietro all'Orto in Milan was tiny, filthy, noisy, crawling with mosquitoes, and had a broken window. It was very expensive too. I strongly wouldn't recommend it. They should shut the place down.
