There’s a nightclub right below the apartment.

The view over Milan's Duomo is incredible, and the location works perfectly for getting around the city. Reception was adequate. Inside, the kitchenette has enough equipment but feels cramped, and street construction makes some noise in the living room. There's just one air conditioner, which I don't think is enough for an apartment this size. Also, you can only get to the bathroom through the bedroom, which is awkward with more than two people.

The Duomo is close enough to explore on foot, which is great, but the apartment sits right over a nightclub. From around midnight or 1 a.m. onward, it's pretty noisy for anyone sleeping in the living room.

Getting the key was the main hassle: there was no reception when I arrived, and after I called, they sent me to their office at the train station to collect it. That was some distance away, so I needed a taxi. The apartment itself was clean and nice, with a bedroom and living room, but this is just a flat in a residential building, not a hotel, and there’s no reception or anything like that. I found it a bit scary with no staff or security guard in the building. There’s a bar downstairs by the entrance, and it gets noisy late at night. Around 100 teenagers gather at the entrance.
