Limehome Milan via Stresa

We spent five unfortunate nights in room 202, and the heat made the stay miserable. The first night, they turned off the air conditioning, then told us on WhatsApp it had happened by mistake. On the second night they said it was already working, but we were still stuck in the heat. They ruined that night and the days that followed. When we get back to Germany, we'll take legal action through customer rights. Stay away from this place.

The room was unusable for me, so I had to stay with a friend. Limehome offered no alternative accommodation or meaningful help, just an apology. I wouldn't recommend it if you expect basic cleanliness, safety, or customer support. For a company that promotes “digital convenience” and professional hospitality, this service was unacceptable. If something goes wrong outside office hours, you're on your own. I stayed in room 204 at Limehome Milano 22 Via Stresa, 20125, Milano. Its balcony door was broken and wouldn't close, creating a security and temperature problem. Small insects were coming in through the gap, and the curtains were visibly dirty. I sent Limehome photos straight away. Their response was slow and unhelpful: they asked me to confirm my room number, even though I'd already provided it, then said nobody could come until the next day between 11am and 3pm. There was no temporary fix, room change, compensation, or solution. The pictures were from both room 203 and 204.

This was our third stay at Limehome, but never again. Room 204 was full of ants, and the shower pressure was low, the same issues described in earlier reviews. The room hadn't been cleaned before we arrived, and we spent a couple of hours trying to clean it ourselves. Limehome promised to refund 25% of the stay, but I don't think that's enough for a week over the special Christmas holidays in Milano.

We arrived at midnight and had to sleep in a room at 13°C, freezing all night. My parents and I got sick and spent the next three days ill, which ruined our trip. Avoid this place. We stayed at Limehome Milan via Stresa in winter. The room was 15°C, and the hotel did nothing to fix it. They offered another room that was even colder, at 13°C. Heating in winter is a basic requirement, not an extra. This wasn't just poor service, it was negligence. Even a hostel would be better.
