Hotel Metrò

The room was on the small side, but clean and sufficient. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the tube is just around the corner. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, especially the scrambled eggs.

On the last day of our stay, my friend’s mother had her bag stolen at breakfast, just as she was supposed to travel home. Her passport and everything else were inside. The hotel had no security cameras and refused to call the police. That’s completely unacceptable: there was no sense of safety or responsibility, and the service was extremely poor. Stay away.

The rooftop breakfast was lovely, especially the excellent coffee and fresh vanilla croissant. The rooms were very comfortable, and the location was ideal for visiting all the sites. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and everyone else did all they could for you. A lovely hotel, and I’d recommend it.

As a tourist, I found the location amazing, about a three-minute walk from Wagner subway station. The rooms were very well priced, with a small breakfast included, I think, though I’m not sure. They were clean for the most part, and a little leak at the top of the shower wasn’t a major issue. The rooms felt very secure: there was no peephole, and the door only unlocks when you turn the knob with the key. The staff were very kind and accommodating.
