The best things are the price, the included breakfast, and staff who were fairly friendly and helpful. It's also reasonably easy to reach by bus or underground. But the building needs serious renovation or a thorough cleaning. Maybe I was unlucky, but my room smelled really bad, and the showers and toilets were in pretty poor condition. The facilities overall are nowhere near acceptable.

The free breakfast was very good, and the place is open 24 hours, which is another plus. With tidy, pleasant rooms, it's a real value for money option for a couple of days. Linen and lockers were provided at no charge. The downsides were the poor washroom facilities and having just one electrical socket for the whole room.

The room was clean and the bathroom was okay, and breakfast was decent. Checking out was surprisingly quick too. But don't expect much comfort if you're just crashing here for a night. I booked a single room and waited quite a while while the very slow reception processed everything. The mattress sagged in the middle, and the window didn't shut properly. The shower drain smelled awful.

The bed was decent, and the hostel is handy for two metro stations, about 500 and 750 metres away. But getting back at night felt unsettling: there are a few prostitutes nearby, and then you have to walk down a kind of alley to reach the entrance. Inside, the place feels like a rehab centre or an old high school. The rooms are noisy and have only one plug for everyone. There’s a large bathroom for the whole floor. It didn’t look dirty, but the smell was awful, and there were no paper towels. The reception staff were slow and not very helpful. Lockers are outside the rooms; they’re big and come with a lock, but seem easy to break into. The bedroom key kept getting stuck, and since anyone, whether a guest or not, could enter the hostel even late at night, I didn’t feel safe.
