The price was above average, and I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. I found cheaper places that included breakfast. For a supposed 4-star property, this was hard to believe. The building needs renovation, especially the rooms and bathrooms. There was rarely anyone at reception, each person got just one towel, and housekeeping and towel changes happened only once a week. The dishes and cutlery were dirty, with no detergent or sponges provided. The electric stovetop looked decades old. Filters in both the bathroom and kitchen sinks were clogged and caked with grime, so water splashed over the sides when the taps were turned on. One bed had no wooden slats, just what felt like an ancient cot, and I sank deep into it when I lay down. The air conditioning was extremely outdated.

The owners are kind, but they're in their eighties and seem unable to manage the property. The place was very dirty, and the air conditioning hadn't been maintained for who knows how long, so it didn't work well. There's no cleaning service, and they don't have the tools to clean things themselves either. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

We were there for three nights in what were probably the most basic rooms. We couldn't switch rooms because one of us had limited mobility, accepted pets, and the place was very close to the veterinary clinic we needed. Still, the building looked old and poorly maintained, and hygiene and amenities fell short of what I'd expect from a 4-star place. To me, those stars are completely unjustified.

We had a terrible time there. The cleaning was very poor, and it seems hard for the two elderly owners to manage the residence. I feel sorry for them, but it's a horrible place.

The price didn't feel appropriate for what we got, and I wouldn't recommend the place. I feel bad saying it because it's run by two elderly people who must have done a good job in the past. But cleanliness was lacking, the kitchenette had too little equipment, and the furnishings were dated. The shower didn't work properly either. There was only one towel set for three guests, plus one small bar of soap and some shower gel. I wonder whether the stars it earned in the past just stay there unchanged? Baah. Maybe the working air conditioning in mid-July, when it was 35°C, explains them. At least we managed to cool off.
