Residence Zara

Regular housekeeping was a wonderful perk, and Michaela made me feel cared for just after I’d moved to Milan. She went above and beyond to keep the apartment comfortable and clean, and getting to know her was the highlight of my stay. I spent two months in a renovated one-bedroom on the first floor, facing the piazza in the heart of Isola. The space was comfortable, with a kitchen that had everything I needed. It’s clean, centrally located, and close to lovely restaurants, bars, and public transport. The only downside was the tram, which runs late and is quite loud. The windows are very old despite the renovation, so the noise made it hard to sleep many nights. For a short stay I think it’s fine, but for a longer one I’d ask for a higher floor.

The view from the higher floors is lovely, and Residence Zara is connected well to pretty much everything in Milan. I've been here for 10 months now and expect to stay for the foreseeable future. My one complaint is that the apartments feel so much like home that you don't want to leave. 😅 A big thank you to everyone who keeps the place running, from reception and housekeeping to maintenance and the managers. If you need a place for a short or long stay with the comforts of home, this is it. Grazie Mile, everyone.

We stayed for about 3 months and had one of the best living experiences we've had. The friendly staff made us feel comfortable, and the cleaning team was especially sweet and soft spoken. They cleaned daily, except on weekends. It's within walking distance of the Zara & Isola metro station. One thing I wasn't comfortable with was staff entering while we were out. They didn't touch anything, and nothing ever went missing, but I would've appreciated advance notice. ~ Injla

The apartments come in several sizes, from studios to larger options, and the prices are reasonable. There's also a very nice, large private park. It's in piazzale Lagosta, in the heart of Isola Garibaldi. Garibaldi station is walkable, and grand Central is two stops away. Montenapoleone and Duomo, in the historic center, are four stops away. Isola has charming little restaurants and a lively nightlife.
