The wine was the best part of dinner, and the selection deserves a star. The rest was a rather big disappointment, especially after discovering the place in the Michelin Guide. We hadn’t checked Google reviews beforehand, and in my view, the restaurant’s place in the guide is hard to explain and worth challenging. We came hungry and hoped dinner would be the highlight of our trip, so we ordered creamy cod, mondeghili meatballs, homemade tagliatelle, and pork cheeks with mash to try a range of dishes. The meatballs were oddly mild and seemed like a big breadcrumb. I wasn’t sure what they were made of and couldn’t finish them. The cod was nice and creamy, though the sauce had barely any taste and the dish may have needed more spices. The pasta was excellent, cooked perfectly al dente, but the ragù was very plain. I’m not looking for monosodium glutamate, but it seemed to be missing even salt. The cheeks weren’t bad, just not great, and I’ve had much tastier ones in a random café in Seville. I expected far more from a Michelin-star restaurant that requires a reservation.

A charming local place off the beaten path, with simple decor and friendly, attentive service. They accommodated gluten free, and I appreciated the gluten free breadsticks. The stewed tomatoes and peppers, squash soup, vegetable pickle, and tiramisu were all delicious. My daughter loved the ravioli, though my husband found it a little fishy. Go for fresh food prepared well, served in a pleasant, low-key atmosphere with great service. Definitely recommend!

We loved the whole venue, from the food court and terrace to the bar and restaurant. Everything we tried was fantastic, and during our stay in Milan we found ourselves coming back almost every day.

The staff were very friendly and flexible about storing our luggage. The price was fair, coffee was free, and we got a 10% discount at the restaurant. Metro M3 is easy to reach and it’s 15 minutes to Duomo. Our 4 bedroom was spacious and functional, though the rooms in this rebuilt farmhouse are a bit dark. It’s a busy local restaurant and a cultural meeting point. Breakfast only starts at 9am, which is late if you want to explore the city. We stayed in cold weather and it was already noisy. There are ear plugs in the rooms, but on a warm, busy weekend evening, the restaurant garden could be too loud, especially with kids.

We went for Valentine’s day, but our food took 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive. The service was awful and ruined our night. I hated the place and wouldn’t recommend going. The pasta I ordered was awful too, after waiting so long I only tasted it before leaving. At least my girlfriend got up with a full stomach. While we waited, they brought more bread like we were chickens 😂😂. It felt really disrespectful. I leave them to god, and wish them the best (!)
