UNA Hotels Galles Milano

I spent two nights here on my own and would recommend it. The M1 metro stop is right outside, and it’s about a 20-minute metro ride to the airport. Milan Central is a 15-minute walk, which was handy for meeting up for my Lake Como day trip. The staff are really friendly, the spa was great, and breakfast was plentiful. If something’s missing from the room, just ask reception and they’ll sort it out straight away.

The location was the reason we picked this hotel, and it worked well for getting around by public transport or on foot. The room was clean and felt safe, but looked much less nice than the lobby had led us to expect. We liked the firm bed, though it took up most of the room. The bathroom was okay, but ours had an unexplained smell and the shower drained poorly. Since we were only there for a couple of days, we put up with both. We also got caught in the elevator doors. I booked through Amex travel, which said there’d be a free shuttle to the train station, but there wasn’t one when we arrived. Walking over was fine, or you can take the bus from out front. We’d probably stay again if we found a good deal.

We’ve stayed at UNA Hotels Galles Milano twice, once this year and once last year, and both visits went very well. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the service friendly and professional, and public transport was easy to reach from the convenient location. Everything was organized and met our expectations both times. We’d definitely return and recommend the hotel.

A friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, and a very good breakfast made this a nice base for exploring Milan and the surrounding area. It’s handy for the train station, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from.
