The setup felt a bit odd. It's a floor with a few rented rooms in a building, rather than a hotel or apartment block, and there's no reception on site. The room was small enough that our luggage got in the way, and it could use a refresh. Paint was peeling or stained, the bathroom fan was very loud, and the ottoman bed base and curtains had obvious stains. Still, it was quiet despite being close to the station and attractions. The woman who checked us in was kind and helpful, though she had to come from elsewhere. Cleaning staff were polite and replenished our water. The bathroom was a good size and the air conditioning was powerful. A good option for a younger couple in Milan.

We had to wait 30 minutes in the building lobby when we arrived. The people checking us in had the wrong address because they also handle rooms in other buildings, even though I'd clearly given our arrival time and received confirmation beforehand. The rooms are rented in a building rather than being a proper hotel. They share a floor, and the apartment door was left open all the time, which we found unpleasant. Guests can ring the bell from the building entrance to get into the apartment, and it rang more than ten times during the night, waking us repeatedly. We were disappointed with the reception.
