The only thing we liked was the location. We booked the Deluxe apartment based on its photos and reviews, but it was nowhere near deluxe. There was a separate living room and bedroom, which was a small plus, though there was no door between them and little privacy. The apartment was dirty, especially underneath the bed. We paid an extra €35 for cleaning, but nobody came during our four-day stay. We got one roll of toilet paper and no bath towels until we asked. The coffee machine leaked, there were no capsules, the kettle was broken, the bin and toilet cistern were damaged, and the shower head had a hole. The air conditioning was loud but didn’t work, and all we got instead was a small fan. When we contacted the host, with 25°C outside, we got conflicting explanations and nothing was fixed. There was no proper wardrobe, only a few wobbly hangers and a broken clothes rack. The door lock didn’t work properly, the lighting was poor, and the pillow was uncomfortable. This is an outrageous lie! You can publish everything we said. Yes, we asked for paper without saying how much, and you brought two rolls and threw them into the room. We got four extra coffees. Yes, we left all the towels on the floor by the bed. Don’t accuse me of stealing, that’s a lie! Nobody came to clean. I’m curious how you can judge whether we slept??? LIE LIE LIE, you’re ripping people off for huge amounts of money! Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was great, with restaurants nearby and an easy walk to tourist spots and the train. The room was relatively clean and spacious. But the air conditioning was useless. We stayed Friday to Monday and had to open the windows to cool the room, which was very, very loud. The curtains didn’t close fully, and one wouldn’t move at all, so the room was bright. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, felt like it might break at any moment, and I could feel the poles. I wouldn’t pay this price unless visiting in cooler weather as a couple who doesn’t need the sofa bed. Weekend stays are also worth reconsidering because of the noise.

The receptionist gave us a warm welcome. The location was decent, and even with bars and restaurants on the street below, we couldn’t hear them. The room was definitely spacious, but I was disappointed by the dust on the floor and the poor cleaning, especially since the bill showed an extra cleaning fee 😔. The room amenities also didn’t match the pictures.

It took us a little while to find the hotel. It’s on the fourth floor of a building with poor signage, but once we found it, the stay was great. The hotel is tiny, with only five rooms, which we really liked. We used the full kitchen to store things in the fridge and eat at the table, though we didn’t cook. There was a fan for us, which came in handy because the AC wasn’t great, as is usual here and not specific to this hotel. The location was lovely, just a block from the canal and close to restaurants. It did get a little loud at night, so bring earplugs. With earplugs, you’ll be fine.
