The rooms, beds, and towels were clean, but there were serious maintenance problems: the shower barely had warm water, the lifts weren’t working, a bedside shelf was broken, and both the sockets and bedside lights were out of order. Breakfast was dried out, with most items gone near the end of service. Every night, traffic, rolling suitcases, and people returning made awful noise. Think carefully before booking. This used to be an IBIS hotel and has since changed ownership. They don’t seem interested in the current poor standards because they plan to renovate at some point. Until then, it feels like the place will keep deteriorating.

The whole stay was disappointing, and we won’t book here again or recommend it. We waited about 45 minutes on arrival for a reservation made weeks earlier. The bill showed payment for two rooms, but only one had been assigned. A&O's main office corrected the invoice within minutes, while getting the missing room sorted took much longer. Our room was around 30°C (86°F) and smelled unpleasant. The air conditioning only heated it, so we could sleep only with the windows open. The furniture looked old, dust was sitting in reachable corners, and there was heavy limescale on the basin, shower fixtures, and bathtub. We arrived for breakfast shortly after 9:00 AM, though it was advertised from 7:00-10:00 AM. There were no eggs, only ham from the meat selection, crushed butter, and just three rolls left. Staff said there would be little or no replenishment because breakfast was nearly over. The advertised complimentary WiFi connected, but gave no access to the outside internet. Both lobby snack machines had been broken since our arrival two days earlier. One of the two elevators was out of service, and the working one couldn’t handle more than four people despite a sign saying its capacity was 900kg. The operational, maintenance, and service problems fell well short of reasonable hospitality. Would not recommend.

We reported several problems and got no response: the first lift has been out of order for ages, the shower is clogged, the safe and TV don’t work, there’s no bedside table, and the toilet leaks. Rooms aren’t cleaned daily, even when requested through the QR code, so we’ve had to make do with two towels for the entire stay. Doors slam at night and make the hotel noisy. You can complain, but no one helps. Good luck.

The staff were great, but the room and facilities weren’t. The air conditioning didn’t work, there was no bathroom fan, and the lift broke down several times in one day. I won’t stay here again.
