The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable compared with many hotels, and the reception staff were friendly. There was plenty of parking and a nice yard. Cleaning gets especially high marks, just as other reviews mentioned. I expected the city center to be far, but the 25-minute walk wasn’t too bad. You pass the hospital and university on the way. Nothing else to complain about, really. There was perhaps some noise from a neighbor one morning, but I think that was unusual.

The breakfast was lovely, and the price made this a great find. The location is good and the parking is huge and free. The room interior felt a little dated, though.

For a two-star hotel, it was a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our short visit. Breakfast was included, but could be better organized. When I came down, it wasn’t fully set up, and the meats were all in a fridge at the end of the table. I helped myself, which apparently wasn’t acceptable. If breakfast is offered at a set time, everything should be ready for guests then. Apart from that, no complaints. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

My colleague and I were in Bologna for work and picked Astor hotel because the price was very good. We were genuinely surprised by the service, clean rooms, breakfast, and how well everything was handled. It was all top level. If I were on a hotel-star commission, I’d give Astor hotel more stars. The train and bus links to Bologna are great too, so staying at Astor Hotel can save you a lot. We fully recommend it.

After a long journey, a clean bed and bathroom and coffee when we arrived were just what we needed. The staff were helpful and very friendly. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.
