The owner gave excellent information about how services work in the city. The apartment is quiet and about 10 minutes from Corso Umberto I, the city’s main street. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with toilets, a small kitchenette, and a refrigerator. The route up to it is uphill, so it may not suit visitors with significant mobility problems. In the off season, many businesses close on Mondays, and restaurant and cafe hours aren’t very strict. Modica has a tourist train that goes to good sightseeing spots, and one day is enough to explore the city.

The apartment was in an excellent location, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Mr. Giovanni was welcoming and helpful.
