We had a wonderful weekend at il grillo parlante. On Friday, our hosts Regula and Gilbert gave us a warm welcome with a nice aperitif. We then enjoyed a beautifully balanced four course dinner, paired, of course, with the right regional wine, Barolo.

We spent two nights here during our honeymoon stopover. The clean, spacious room had a wonderful view, as did the quiet B&B overlooking Monforte d'Alba and the surrounding vineyards. Breakfast was generous, with homemade bread and jams. Regula and Gilbert were welcoming hosts and gave us great tips for restaurants, outings, and other things to do nearby. Thanks again to you both, we felt very welcome!

Set among the Langhe vineyards, this is a beautiful place to stay. Gilbert and Regula were exceptionally hospitable and helpful. Our room was very spacious and, above all, clean. Breakfast overlooking the vineyards was excellent. An unforgettable stay.
