Santa Maria delle Nevi in Pava has a medieval look and a bell gable, and its long-abandoned building adds charm to the accommodation in the small privately owned village it belongs to. The former parish church dates back to 1100, when it took over from the older nearby parish church of San Pietro a Pava. That church had fallen into disuse, then collapsed.
