The location was great, and I definitely recommend taking the funicolare. The room was okay, but could use renovation, and I found the wall colors unpleasant. Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, the towels were more like kitchen towels than bath towels, and breakfast was okay, nothing special.

It was cosy, decent, and nicely warm on cold November days. The helpful staff were on hand, and it wasn't far from Corso Roma and the spa park.

I spent one night in a triple room. Being very close to the city centre was a real plus, and the coffee was surprisingly good. Breakfast was mostly pastries and cereal, so not the healthiest selection, but at least they had eggs to balance it out a bit. The Wi-Fi barely worked, which was frustrating when I needed it for work or trip planning. Great location and coffee, but breakfast could use more variety and the Wi-Fi needs improvement.

Getting to the heart of Montecatini is an easy, short walk, and there are plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants close by. We enjoyed our 4 nights here and would gladly return. It was clean and comfortable, with a layout and facilities that seemed to encourage a friendly, relaxed community. Breakfasts were very good, with staff keeping an eye on things when needed, and the evening meals were tasty and filling.

The toilet flush was broken, and the shower pressure and temperature kept fluctuating, which made showering a bit unpleasant. The rooms were okay and quite clean. Staff were friendly and spoke English and French. Some of the food was good and some was bad, and I even found a hair on my plate.
