Hotel Florida

The hotel is right in the city center, and the location is amazing. Staff were trying their best to help, though they didn't understand English very well. I still refused breakfast because it looked inedible. The room also left me unhappy. I compared notes with other passengers from the same tourist agency, and it wasn't just my room that was bad. The bed bounced like a trampoline, so when one person moved, the other one flew. The bathroom layout was terrible. The shower curtains are supposed to stop water going everywhere, but they sit in the middle of the bathroom. There's no mop to soak up or clean the water afterward, so you need slippers. The toilet is right next to the shower, which is horrible when someone has just showered. I strongly suggest planned remodeling to improve the grade.

The dinner at the restaurant was disastrous, and the waiters were rude and unfriendly. The toilet was covered in fungus and mold, while the bed collapsed as soon as we sat on it. The bed linen was torn, dirty, and covered in strange stains. Everything felt dirty and old, as if it hadn't been renovated for centuries. If you're looking for a place to stay, don't come here, even if sleeping in your car is the alternative. If I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel doesn't deserve even one.

The food was probably the worst I've ever tried to eat. Our whole group sent back full plates because it was so disgusting. The kitchen really shouldn't be open to guests, and they should hire a real cook. Dinner looked unpleasant and unhygienic, the family who own the hotel wore pyjamas while serving it, and even water wasn't included as a free drink. Nobody spoke English or seemed willing to have a conversation in any language other than Italian. The rooms were small but looked clean at first. The sheets and towels reeked of vinegar, as if they were washed in it instead of normal detergent. The toilet was so small and impractical that you couldn't shower normally. This is the worst hotel I've visited so far in Italy. Italian hotel standards must be so low for this place to have three stars. I wonder what two-star hotels look like. I definitely recommend staying away.

They charged me 25 euros for the air conditioner control after it accidentally fell down the elevator shaft. I told him many times it was an accident. At another hotel, they wouldn't have charged for the control. The staff always looked sullen and angry, and I wasn't satisfied at all.
