The location is ideal and the host was friendly, but the rest left me disappointed. The rooms were small and dated, the shower fixture was broken, the walls let noise through, and the beds weren't comfortable. Breakfast was a surprise in the wrong way, it seemed to be packaged store-bought food despite the amazing local food around. We picked this hotel because of the hot tub shown on the website. After cycling, our legs were tired and we were looking forward to a soak, but it didn't seem to exist, and there was no notice that it was down for maintenance. I wouldn't stay here again.

The bathroom smelled bad enough that we had to open the window right after arriving. The woman at the desk is lovely and welcoming, though she wasn't there when we checked in and a colleague was instead. We didn't go up to the rooftop because no one showed us the jacuzzi tub from the pictures. Such a shame.

10/10
The rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and very clean, with care put into every detail. Service was spot on, and the owner was extremely kind, with fantastic suggestions for places to eat, areas to visit, and wineries to see. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay with great service.

It's in a nice spot in the village center, and the rooms are fine for a three-star place. But breakfast was awful, the owner gave me really bad dining advice, and there was no hot water.

The owners didn't speak English, but they were very hospitable and tried to communicate through Google Translate. The historic building was lovely, the rooms were clean, and the hotel was centrally located, within walking distance of the piazza and plenty of restaurants.
