The quiet setting and amazing view are real pluses, and we were greeted warmly by staff who were happy to show us around. The beds were very comfortable, though our room felt cramped with suitcases, and the bedside lights were far too bright for a relaxing evening. The bathroom also flooded when we showered. The place is a little worn and could use some updating. One thing to know: if you’re expecting an organic agriturismo breakfast, you may be disappointed. We got standard tea and Müller Milch yoghurt, which felt a long way from organic. Still, for the price, it’s worth considering if those drawbacks don’t bother you. It’s remote, but you probably checked that on Google already.

Dinner is worth trying, especially since they make sausages and other cured meats right there. We had a lovely night with our family and young child. The rooms were cute, the view was great, and there was AC. The child also enjoyed seeing the chickens, dogs, and cats.

We had a great meal at Agriturismo Biologico Villa Rosa, with lots of dishes featuring truffle. The restaurant and its setting are fabulous, and the staff were so kind and pleasant. The owner was especially friendly. I’d definitely come back!
