Terme Di Relilax Boutique Hotel & Spa

The sauna area was a highlight on my second visit to Terme di Relilax, this time just for the day. There are two saunas, one much hotter than the other, and both were relaxing. Complimentary tea and water beforehand were a nice touch, and I also enjoyed the steam room and cooling off with the cold ice. It was April, cooler than when I visited before, and the outdoor pool’s warmer temperature suited the weather perfectly. We had lunch too, and my salmon sandwiches tasted very good. The staff were welcoming, and I had a great visit. I highly recommend it.

I came for a day at the spa and it was a five-star experience. The pools and saunas are beautiful, the showers were exceptional, and Elena gave me a fabulous, relaxing massage. Highly recommend!

A whole day at the Terme pools and spa was so relaxing, worth every euro. Entry is 50€ per person, or 70€ on Fridays and weekends. You get access to the pools and saunas for the day, plus a bathrobe and towels. There are indoor and outdoor thermal pools, along with Turkish, Finnish and Bio saunas. The staff are helpful and speak English. I’ll definitely come back.

We paid 50e per person for day entry, but this didn’t feel like a five-star spa. The route to the spa lacks elegance, with broken flooring and stairs. The person who greeted us at the entrance was not very polite or professional. The towels were shameful, with every edge torn. The changing rooms and bathrooms need more frequent cleaning: there was a bad smell, hair all over the floor, and the bathrooms felt unpleasant. The seats in the changing room are packed too close together, like an amateur football locker room, and the cabinets are old and damaged. A five-star hotel shouldn’t have broken hangers, as several were broken in different lockers. Around the pool, the deck chairs were in awful condition, with peeling paint, and some walls were embarrassing to look at. The outdoor pool is nice at night, when you can’t see the leaves and dirt at the bottom. It has no spot where water comes out under pressure for massage. The indoor pool is a bit small. In the middle are two hydro jets, and the three wall waterfalls stopped working after 20 o'clock. Why? Who knows. The spa area with its three saunas, a few hot and cold showers, and aromatherapy path was interesting, seemed newer and was cleaner. But people left towels on chairs all day, both in the spa and by the pool, so there was nowhere to put a bathrobe, and no one came to collect them. All in all, our experience fell well short of what we expected, and what it should be for a five-star hotel. We won’t be back.
