Pension Baumgarten

We slept soundly here, tucked away in a Naturno hamlet in the countryside, away from the main road traffic. It’s a lovely, clean and peaceful family-run guesthouse, with an excellent breakfast and the option to have dinner without going out. The hosts are kind and helpful. I’ll come back as soon as I can.

The owners and staff were extremely kind and attentive, and breakfast was excellent, with carefully chosen products. We couldn’t try dinner because the owner had an accident and couldn’t cook during our stay. She was very polite and had let us know before we booked. The place has an indoor pool, too. The guesthouse is family-run and quite dated, but very clean, even with carpeted rooms. The rooms and small ensuite bathrooms could use renovation. I definitely recommend staying here for the owners’ kindness and the cleanliness throughout.

The balcony was a highlight, with a beautiful view and a lounge chair to relax in. At night, looking up at the sky from there was something special. Our room was clean and spacious, and there’s plenty of parking on site. The whole property is well maintained, surrounded by greenery, and has a peaceful, relaxing feel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and pets are welcome. It’s well placed for exploring the area, with interesting trails nearby. Breakfast was excellent, and there’s a small bar in the evening for a drink on the shared terrace. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.

The owners were so welcoming that we felt right at home. Our room was clean and spacious, with a terrace and loungers, and breakfast was excellent. The property is a peaceful spot among apple, apricot, and cherry trees, and it’s handy for visiting the lovely villages tucked into the greenery of the Venosta Valley. We’ll definitely come back!
