The staff were kind and helpful, and the location is amazing. The beach has great potential, which makes it a shame that the rest of the hotel fell short. The buildings, rooms, and facilities feel old and outdated. We checked into a dirty room; the floors weren't cleaned unless we asked, the sheets weren't changed for three days, and the bathrooms got only a light clean, with the showers left untouched. Meals and their timing were a joke. The food was horrible, and the cook seemed to have no idea how to prepare a meal. The buffet was available for very short windows, with dinner lasting just 75 minutes. Even hospital meal times are more relaxed. We paid for full board, then spent all four days eating out. I'm not sure what scale gives this hotel four stars. I'd give it two at most. I hope management takes these comments seriously and improves the service. I'd love to come back and enjoy the beach.

This is one of the rare places we'd happily return to, even though we usually like trying somewhere new. There are little flaws, as anywhere, but the stay was lovely. The resort is right by the beach and easy to reach from anywhere, with friendly, smiling staff who were always ready to help. The flowers and plants are cared for throughout the grounds, and the rooms are spacious and being modernized. The pool was spotless, with lifeguards always nearby, and the beach was well looked after too. Antonio kept a close eye on everything. Meals were plentiful and varied, and I'm not sure why some people complain, unless they're used to Michelin-starred dining every day. The waiters were quick, kind, and friendly, from the maître d' to the youngest staff. The bar team worked tirelessly, and the owners were always available for questions. Entertainment was friendly without being intrusive. Nicola, the dancer, was exceptional, and I hope he succeeds in his field. Alessandro was sensitive, very polite, and a genuinely good guy.
