This was our third time staying at one of Stefania’s properties, and we loved the apartment on the hill overlooking Chiesa San Biagio. The hilltop view is amazing, and the gated, private setting is convenient for getting to Montepulciano and local shops. Stefania is always attentive to what we need. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed at the montorio charming residences on 10/17 and 10/18, in the bellarmino. The location and views were great, the place was very clean and quiet, and it was huge for the two of us. Communication with the host was good until the day we left, when she stopped replying to my emails and texts about an issue. On our first night, heavy rain woke us because water was dripping from the ceiling onto the headboard, then bouncing onto our heads. It got worse and started dripping onto the nightstand too. We used towels to muffle the sound, but eventually had to pull the bed away so it wouldn’t drip on us. The rain eased a few hours later and the leak stopped. I contacted the host, who said this doesn’t usually happen and offered to have someone check it. She also offered a 50% discount for that first night. Luckily, there was no leak the following night. When I reminded her of the discount on our departure day, she didn’t respond. I texted from our next destination and emailed again after we got home, but still haven’t received confirmation or acknowledgement of the discount she offered. Vacation is meant to be relaxing, and this was disappointing. I’ll try to attach photos of the ceiling and wall.

It’s a very nice place to stay near Montepulciano in Tuscany, about 30 minutes from the main Chiusi train station. If you’re planning to stay here, make sure to rent a car. It’ll help you get around.

It’s an interesting place to stay in an old covent. The view over S Biagio is stunning, and Montepulciano’s old town is not far away.
