That mountain view from the private balcony was stunning, and the bed was really comfortable. The room also had snacks, water, tea and coffee, which was a lovely extra. It’s an easy 10-15 minute walk to the center of Monterosso if you’re okay with stairs. Cherry was such a thoughtful host, picking us up and taking us back to the train station on two very rainy days. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Anna served an excellent breakfast, and the Wi-Fi worked great. We also appreciated the clean, quiet room and the ground floor entrance with its little courtyard. Restaurants and shops on Via Roma are a short walk away, and the beach is about 10 minutes on foot. One thing to know: although the room is advertised as being all on one floor, the bed is in a loft reached by a spiral staircase. That could be difficult for older guests or anyone with mobility issues, and you have to use the stairs to get to the restroom at night.

We had no complaints. The breakfast was a huge spread, and Annie was helpful and lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a hot shower that had good pressure and temperature. Check-in was easy, just the keys in a padlock, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops right in Monterosso old town.

The staff were excellent, and the location put us right near the sights and restaurants in central Monterosso. The room was pretty basic. It would probably have felt cozy with two people, but there were three of us, unfortunately.

The breakfast, tea service, and bottle of water in the room were good touches, but we struggled to sleep because the walls were so thin. We could hear the neighbors talking clearly. The bed is set up in a loft, which also seems unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
