VIN Hotel - La Meridiana

The wine offering is a real highlight. Starri personally puts together the wine shop and list, and he and his staff know their vintages and wines in depth. It works well for experienced wine drinkers as well as anyone just starting to explore. Perched on a mountain top above Tuscany’s green hills, the hotel also makes a lovely getaway. From arrival through meals and the great wine list, Starri and his kind team do their best to make you feel at home.

We had a great time meeting people and enjoying ourselves here. The pasta making course and wine tasting are both worth recommending. The place is small, personal, and beautiful, and the owner and employees are all super nice. It was easily the best stay on our Italy road trip. It’s a bit far from everything, but absolutely worth it if you want to get away from a busy life.

Even with the disappointing weather, we enjoyed our stay to the fullest and would love to come back. Thanks, Starri, for the warm welcome and magnificent experience ❤️ We stayed in a clean garden room with a rustic feel, a modern bathroom, and comfortable beds. There are some nice activities available, too. The staff were friendly and service minded, and when we arrived in the evening, we were lucky to be able to have a late dinner. The food and wine were fantastic, very tasty and well priced. Their Buggi bianco was a particular favorite. The charming hotel sits high in the hills of Montieri, with stunning views and a peaceful setting. Well recommended!

The excellent wine selection and stunning views make this hotel feel like a calm, romantic oasis. It’s especially dear to me because this is where I got engaged 💕
