Scardalano Resort

The park around the property was a lovely extra, with lots of room outdoors and an exceptional sense of peace when the weather is nice. Our host was very friendly and helpful the whole time, greeting us before we arrived and making sure our needs were met. The room was modern and comfortable, though it didn’t have air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious and practical, with a window. A good choice for a short visit or a longer stay in the area.

The restored property looks beautiful while keeping its historic character, and it’s tucked into greenery with wonderful quiet all around. The rooms are lovely, well furnished, and very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful, though the welcome could be better: check-in felt makeshift, done on paper without a computer. The outdoor furniture also needs attention. The loungers were old and dirty, which was a shame.

The peaceful woodland around this agriturismo made it feel wonderfully quiet, and Morcone and the highway to the city are only a few meters away. The owners, Domenico and Antonalla, were warm and hospitable and made our stay unforgettable. Our room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable double bed, and the elegant bathroom was magnificent and extremely comfortable. A dream of a place!

There’s a separate kitchen where you can eat and have breakfast, even independently from the resort, and the place also has playground equipment for children. With all the greenery around, a nice pool would make it even better. I’d come back.
