Bring mosquito repellent, just in case. The gîte is a lovely place to stay, with Jean-Pierre there to welcome you and help if you need anything. It’s about 25 minutes from Porto Torres and 40 from Alghero. Italian comes in handy. In the evening, you can take a walk, then stop at Irene's Bar for a light ice cream and a glass of blueberry liqueur.
