Hotel Capri

We stayed at the capri as a small family group for our wedding, and this hotel deserves more than five stars. When one of our family members became very unwell, the staff went above and beyond to help. In a frightening moment, they even drove us to the local hospital when we couldn't get a taxi. It's a beautiful, professional hotel with the care and pride of a family-run business. Gaia was especially kind, and we're deeply grateful to her and everyone at the Capri for taking care of us. The pool was lovely, with lots of sunbeds and never too crowded, and our children loved it. The views were amazing, breakfast was great, and the rooms were lovely and clean with fantastic views. We'll definitely be back.

The staff were attentive and wonderful, and breakfast was included and had a huge range: fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, bread, natural yogurt with hemp and chia seeds, honeycomb and local bee pollen, which was great for allergies. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but saw other guests having dinner on the patio, with shade in the morning and lovely sunset views. Hotel Capri overlooks Lake Garda and is about a five-minute walk from town, restaurants, shops, and swimming spots. The lake was a perfect way to cool down during the heatwave, though the beaches are rocky, so bring water shoes or flip-flops. The hotel has parking and an elevator, a rare find in European hotels. It also has a family-friendly pool, though we spent all our time at the lake. Our comfortable room had a private balcony with a partial lake view, a nice breeze, privacy, and a great shower. No need to worry if Superior Lake View rooms are booked, the partial view was lovely too. The castle is a 15-minute walk away, with beautiful views from the top. The front desk provides a visitor card for discounted entry, well worth it. We loved our stay and are already planning to return.

The hotel sits up quite a few steps, but it's a great spot, with town only a short walk away. We had a fantastic week at Hotel Capri. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful, and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We booked a balcony room with a lake view, and the scenery was stunning. Breakfast and dinner were superb, especially eating on the terrace overlooking the water. There's also a great pool area and a gym on site. I'd definitely recommend it for a Malcesine holiday.

The historical center was easy to reach, and the view was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were cheerful and helped us with everything. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.
