Being close to the train station was the main thing we liked about the location. The condition of the place on arrival, though, was unacceptable. The toilet still had feces in it, the bedding and towels were dirty, and there was hair and grime in the bathroom. After some initial cleaning, stains remained on the linen and towels, so I cleaned the toilet myself. Several other areas were very dirty or dusty, as if a thorough cleaning hadn't been done in a long time. There were technical problems as well. Trying to resolve things was especially frustrating. Replies were slow, and some messages got no acknowledgment at all. We asked repeatedly for compensation or a partial refund, sent extensive photos, and made an explicit plea, but got no response and no satisfactory solution. Even our requests to refill the toilet paper were ignored, so we had to handle it ourselves. This seriously spoiled our vacation and our anticipation of the stay. Major hygiene problems, technical issues, no resolution, and a very disappointing response to legitimate complaints. One of the worst places we've stayed.
