Ariel B&B

The bed was the only decent part, so Ariel bed and breakfast might as well just be called 'bed'. Everything was mouldy, the WiFi barely reached our room, and there was no hot water. We were right next to the kitchen, with no sound insulation, so sleeping past 8am was rough once 'breakfast' began. It was the saddest excuse for breakfast I've come across in all my travels. The room was small and everything rickety, but those other flaws didn't really bother me.

Dalio, our host, was really helpful and friendly, and even gave us a little lucky horn as a gift. The place is beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony terrace with dining tables. Rooms are spacious, though not very soundproof. You're steps from Via Toledo and the Piazza Dante metro station, close to the old town and main attractions, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. The only downside was the lack of an elevator. Otherwise, everything was great.

The location is excellent, right downtown with everything nearby and just two minutes from Dante metro station. I stayed for four days as a couple, but the room was very small. The bed was uncomfortable, there was only one outlet to charge my phone, and we had no hot water. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The coffee machine for guests was the only other good thing.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the renovated interior is tasteful, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Outside, some renovation work is still underway. Breakfast needs improvement: it's served on a lovely terrace, but there are no indoor seats if the weather is cold or rainy. The property is right in the city center, a few steps from Piazza Dante metro station. A good choice for a short Naples break, and I'd recommend it for a few days.
