B&B Depretis19

The one thing that worked really well was the location, everything was nearby and walkable. The apartment was on the 5th floor, but the lift only fits two people at a time. You need a key to operate it, otherwise you’re stuck, so it’s a complete no-go for a family with a toddler or stroller. We also heard loud water outlet sounds whenever people in nearby apartments used the bathroom, which was unpleasant. We stayed five nights. Although we booked breakfast, it wasn’t a buffet: we got vouchers to use at the cafe outside, but they didn’t pay much attention to them and just offered whatever they had. Finally, Booking.com’s message said checkout was 12 pm, while the property’s timing was 10:30 am.

The location is very good, and management was a little rude, though otherwise it was okay. We changed our review to one star after they accused us of being a fake customer or writing a fake review instead of improving how they treat customers. There was nothing fake about what we wrote.

There are some good food spots close by, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The rooms were clean and had a great view. You can walk to some attractions, and the metro station is right next door. I’d definitely recommend it.

My room came with a balcony and a lovely view of the city. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and check-in was smooth. It’s a wonderful B&B, centrally located for tourist attractions, points of interest, public transport and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!
