I’d noted that check-in was in the afternoon when I booked, so I asked whether we could arrive earlier. The reply was that we could leave our luggage, which seemed fine. But after our 6am flight from London, landing in Napoli at 10am, we had trouble finding the place, and the owner’s English was extremely poor. We couldn’t get reassurance that we were in the right spot. In the end I cancelled and paid the cancellation fee. After walking around with our luggage for a few hours, I booked somewhere else. I definitely wouldn’t say this place is for tourists.

Pepe is such a kind older man, with a lovely smile, and I’d happily come back. He speaks more English than I speak Italian, though communication can still be tricky. He runs his B&B in a huge apartment block in the middle of Naples. We arrived at 1am, and if you get there after 10:30pm, he asks for a €25 penalty. He explained why, but we didn’t quite understand. People mention croissants, but we didn’t get any, either for breakfast or to take on our journey. Maybe he was cross because we arrived so late. The separate bathroom didn’t bother me, but my partner wasn’t keen. It was a very nice bathroom, and since the place was quiet while we were there, we basically had it to ourselves.

The atmosphere was great, the place was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Everything was perfect, and I can highly recommend staying here!

It was clean and quiet, and the staff were nice. I really enjoyed my stay. On the way back, he even drove us to the airport and packed croissants for our trip home. If I return to Napoli, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Pepe was amazing. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for better service. We needed to leave earlier than usual, but he still got up early to make us breakfast. Mille grazie Pepe.
