It's clean, and the family who own it are very nice. The lady of the house did her best, though she doesn't speak English. We only know a little Italian, but managed, and her daughter and granddaughter were really helpful. The guesthouse needs a lot of renovation. The air conditioning wasn't great, and the garden needs attention. There are lots of steps to reach it. We didn't feel safe on the street going up at night, so honestly we made sure to get back before dark.

Casa Avallone is what comes to mind when I think of being welcomed. My stay was very brief, but it left me wishing I could return, maybe at Christmas. Thanks for everything, you're special.

We felt right at home at B&B Casa Avallone last weekend. The welcome was warm and the hospitality excellent. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade sfogliatelle served warm. It's in a strategic spot, just steps from Spaccanapoli and Piazza del Plebiscito. I highly recommend it for the place, the location, and above all, the welcome.

The room and the whole place felt warm, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Imma waited for us and made sure we got a lovely welcome. At breakfast, she treated us to delicious Neapolitan pastiera. Big thanks to Imma and Mamma Pina for all their care and kindness, and for sharing such a real taste of Neapolitan cooking. We’ll be back soon, and it’ll be hard to resist that pastiera again. Hugs ❤️🥰
