I liked the attractive building and neighborhood, the flexible check-in time, and how quiet it was. The area felt safe, though it isn't well connected for an early flight. We had to arrange our own taxi to the airport, which cost 28.5 euros. The apartment's plumbing needs attention: the toilet kept leaking and made noise that was especially noticeable at night, and the shower needs fine-tuning. It also feels odd for a bed and breakfast to offer no breakfast. During my time in Italy, severe, repeated national transport strikes affected public transport throughout the country. We had said we'd arrive by public transport when asked for our arrival details, but nobody told us about the strikes. As a tourist, that was frustrating, since it affected our arrival and departure. If we'd known, we could have avoided wasting half a day at Naples central station, and the trip would have gone more smoothly. Unfortunately, the hosts reacted badly to an honest review. Paying customers shouldn't be put down for pointing out improvements that could help provide better service and accommodation.

The building is a unique Italian one, and the rooms were great. There's a parking spot nearby. The lady who welcomed us was very polite and sweet, and keen to suggest places to see. We had an amazing time!

The hosts explained the house rules and room features clearly, and made us feel very welcome. Though the rooms are part of a typical B&B in a historic building with other residents, they felt hotel-standard: spacious, comfortable, clean, and with an ensuite. There's also a refrigerator and kettle in the room, plus a TV and coffee machine in the shared hall. Even with the surroundings, it was incredibly quiet. The area felt safe and lively, with everything close by. You can reach places around the city by metro, train, funicular, bus, taxi, or on foot. I know Naples well and have stayed elsewhere, and I can say this is the best choice for even a short visit. The hosts aren't always at the property, but are available whenever there's an issue or question. I stayed for two nights on a friend's recommendation.

We had a lively three-night stay. Monica and Alessandro manage this B&B really well, and the renovated rooms are lovely. It's very well located. We'll come back!
