Chez Anna B&B

The hosts were great and very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay enough to come back. It’s well placed for the Metro, restaurants, cafes, shops, and the Funicular.

We’d carefully chosen Chez Anna for our two-week honeymoon in Italy and were really looking forward to Naples. Instead, we canceled that part of the trip and booked somewhere else after Alexander was rude when I asked how to get there from the train station. I was also confirming our arrival time, as the check-in email requested. After I asked about the route and what he meant by “the underground,” he said I was annoying for asking so many questions. I felt like a burden, so we extended our stay in Florence and skipped Naples. After I canceled, Alexander sent this on WhatsApp: “I mean first you pissed me off with a thousand questions then you canceled my reservation, but you can shit yourself”. Who talks to guests like that? I’m glad we didn’t spend our money supporting this business.

Alessandro’s mother served breakfast in such a homely way that it felt like eating at home. The B&B is close to the metro and on a busy street with some of the best food places in town. The room was excellent, better than I expected, and breakfast was good. It’s run by a lovely couple and their son Alessandro, genuinely lovely people you don’t come across easily. Best place to stay in napoli.

The couple running the place were so warm, welcoming, and kind. It’s in a great, very safe neighborhood, with plenty of good restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. The metro is an easy 4 minute walk and simple to use. We slept comfortably, and the shower had great pressure and hot water. I highly recommend staying here!
