Domus Borbonica

We could watch city life from the balcony, and our family of four had plenty of room in the spacious, very clean apartment. Domus Borbonica was beautiful, and its location on via Toledo puts the spanish quarters, Naples historical center, shops, restaurants, and more nearby. Massimo was friendly and helpful, and arranged our airport transfer. Thank you, Massimo!

A great place in Naples, close to everything. It was incredibly quiet at night, so we could rest and sleep comfortably.

Everything was great, and the room was very clean. The manager was friendly and even pointed us to a delicious pizza restaurant.

The room had beautiful high ceilings and was clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Ours faced away from the busy road, so street noise wasn't an issue for us, despite what I'd read in other reviews. The bathroom was clean and very large, and the hotel sits on a main road in a very convenient location. A few things made the stay difficult. There was no fridge in the room, even though one was listed, and none was provided after I explained I needed it for personal medication. We also had no housekeeping during our five days. Breakfast was served at Restaurante Daniele, a one-minute walk away, not at the hotel or at Bar Daniele. They brought food and drinks without asking about dietary needs or preferences. The cafe itself doesn't have good reviews, and the spread was salami toast, margarita pizza slices, and six sugary pastries. I'm vegetarian and don't like sugary breakfast food, so I ate one item and left the rest, which felt wasteful. They'd benefit from asking guests what they'd like. We skipped breakfast for the other three mornings. There was a strong cigarette smell in the hotel corridors whenever we walked through. Communication with the hotel was a challenge, too. Having to go back and forth repeatedly to make sure he understood us became frustrating. I would rather not name him. He also charged me €40 for a taxi instead of €35 because I wanted one at 5.30am.
