Le Petit Palais Naples

Breakfast wasn't as impressive as at some other places we stayed in Italy, though the view made up for it. Our room was beautiful, and Le Petit Palais is thoughtfully put together, with the boys showing a great sense of style. The location gives you plenty of ways to get around: Piazza Vanvitelli is a 15-minute walk, with a funicular and metro to reach all over Naples, and you can also walk down Via Pedamentina to Montesanto funicular. The views at breakfast over Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples are stunning, and Vomero feels so peaceful up in the hills. Just know that getting down from Largo San Martino to the door with lots of luggage is a challenge. We counted 102 large steps, or 214 of my steps! Still worth it. Antonio and Gianmarco are friendly hosts with great advice, and always ready to help. Marina, the housekeeper and caretaker, was amazing, so kind and caring. We grew close during our stay and valued her support a lot. Don't hesitate to book. It's a winner, and we'll be back! ❤️

We felt looked after, almost like we were staying at friends' house. The couple who own this little house are fantastic hosts, and the rooms are comfy and clean. There's a lovely city view and a great location. If you enjoy walking, town is 20-25 minutes away, or it's a short walk to the nearest metro. There are good restaurants and shops nearby too if you don't want to head into the busy town center. It's a little gem in Naples, and I'd definitely come back.

Antonio and Gianmarco made us feel very welcome. They were friendly, efficient and always ready to help. The home is beautifully put together, with a warm atmosphere and stunning views across the city and Vesuvio. A true hospitality gem in an ideal Naples location. We're already looking forward to staying again.

Getting to the front door means going down 80 steps with your luggage, so be ready for that. Inside, the room was poorly decorated, and the pillows were very hard.
