Everything was nearby, and the apartment was great.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the apartment was so quiet inside that we couldn't hear either the neighbors or the traffic, even though it faces Spaccanapoli. It's right by a large private car park that's open 24 hours. The entrance is directly opposite the bell tower of Santa Chiara, in an extremely central spot. Inside, it was exceptionally clean, more so than almost anywhere I've stayed. The apartment was practical, had everything we needed, and was simply but tastefully furnished.

We spent lovely evenings on the terrace with local wine and a breeze, looking out over the typical Neapolitan houses and listening to the city. That atmosphere was one of the best parts of the apartment. It's right in Naples' historic center, on Spacca Napoli, where the medieval lanes, bright colors, and everyday energy feel very much part of local life. We could walk to the Cathedral, the nativity shops at San Gregorio Armeno, and lively Piazza San Domenico Maggiore. I can't wait to come back!
