Angela got in touch as soon as I booked and sent all the details ahead of time. When we arrived, she greeted us with a huge smile and shared tips about the city and events happening then. Thanks to her, we had two full, eventful days. The apartment is in a typical Italian building on the main road, so it was easy to find. I loved the contrast: the building has a historic feel, while our room was newly furnished. Even the old elevator to the fifth floor was a remarkable detail. Everything in the room was new, including the beds, wardrobes, AC, and bathroom, and it was spotless. There were towels, water, and everything else we needed. Angela pays close attention to comfort and the little details. One of the best parts was the roof, with its extraordinary view over the whole city from a different angle. We used our own internet, so we didn’t need the Wi-Fi, though Angela had sent all the passwords before we arrived.

We barely needed public transport, since the room is within walking distance of the historic center, museums, and attractions. It’s also close to the Piazza Dante stop, which made getting around Naples easy. The room is in the attic and opens onto a veranda with a breathtaking view. Angela was attentive to what we needed and made us feel very welcome. Thanks to her for the hospitality. If we come back to Naples, we’ll stay here again.

We spent a week in Naples with our family and had a perfect stay at the Mediterranean Roof. The cozy room had comforts beyond what I expected, with windows looking out over Naples’ rooftops and Castel Sant'Elmo. It’s in a refined spot in the historic center, just steps from the subway. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us valuable information about the city and nearby area. I absolutely recommend it!

This elegant penthouse in a Bourbon palace has comfortable rooms and refined shared spaces. I’ll come back. The host’s impeccable hospitality makes up for the decay around Naples’ so-called “living room.”
