Emme21

We arrived at midnight and the host was fine with that. They explained how to get inside and find the key. Breakfast was great each morning, brought to our room on a tray at the time we asked for. The place was clean and crisp, and a great spot to stay.

The host was gracious and quick to answer our questions at any hour. The rooms were clean, and fresh towels were available every morning if needed. It's a convenient base, a short walk to the Main Street, about ten minutes from the Train Station and 15-20 minutes from the ferry port. Our only snag was that the sockets were the older European type, so our new adapters didn't work. They lent us one for the stay, which helped.

Gisueppe was a really friendly host, and he let us leave our luggage for another three hours. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. The location in Naples was very nice.

Marco and his colleagues gave us such a warm welcome. After a pretty shocking arrival at the central station, where one of our mobile phones was stolen, we were glad to have Emme21 as a place to settle in. We felt safe there and got over the initial shock. That helped us see more of Napoli's real character, with its contrasts, welcoming people, beautiful church ceremonies, family feel and amazing food. The three nights changed our first impression of the city for the better. We could walk to the Duomo, the old city area and the seaside promenade without using the tube at all. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day, and the complimentary Prosecco bottle for NYE was a lovely surprise. The room was pleasant, with a big comfortable bed, a decent en-suite bathroom, good A/C and a charming French balcony. Thanks again, Marco and Emme21. Arrivederci!
