The staff made us feel at home, answering all our questions politely and warmly. The hotel is a quiet retreat amid Napoli’s beautiful chaos, and the location puts you right in the busy center. Public transit is handy, though we found plenty within walking distance and may not have needed it. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The courtyard and hotel are nice, and on this visit our room with a rooftop terrace was good. The area is interesting and has fewer cruise ship tourists, with the archaeological museum nearby, though it’s about a 25 minute walk from the port. You’ll also hear plenty of planes since the hotel sits under the airport flight path. Breakfast was very basic. The eggs were cold and tasted bad, the cereal seemed generic, and the apples were all bruised. It gave me the impression they use the cheapest ingredients. Fresh squeezed orange juice costs extra. There was also some unknown exhaust drifting over people eating in the courtyard. None of the staff knew what it was and they wouldn’t look into it. The courtyard seating could use umbrellas or a large cover for daytime shade. The staff inside the hotel were nice, but don’t expect much from the breakfast crew. Please tell Carmen to stop deciding where guests can sit at breakfast. Carmen is extremely rude and bossy. Some room items needed repair: I had to screw on the handle that operates the shower, and the toilet seat was missing its bumpers. The internet was painfully slow and often cut out. On previous visits, I didn’t like the loft rooms because the separate bedrooms require constant trips up and down stairs and aren’t private, and the balconies were too small for two people to sit on. If you stay, keep your expectations low and you’ll be fine.

Our room was clean, spacious, and practical, with the bed on a mezzanine level above the rest of the two-floor room. Breakfast was served in the courtyard, with a wide continental selection. The hotel is in the historic district, and reception were helpful and friendly. Check-in went smoothly, and we enjoyed our stay overall.

We stayed seven nights in room 111, overlooking the courtyard. It was a large, quirky room with great facilities, a big walk-in shower, and a comfortable bed, everything we needed for a city break. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of pretty much everything we wanted to see in Naples. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Erika and Federica. Breakfast had a good selection of colder items, including buffalo mozzarella, and there’s an on-site café for hot food and drinks. I’d recommend it for a stay in Naples.

The hotel is charming, with a nice mix of modern decor, and the area felt pleasant and lively. Shops and the archaeological museum were easy to reach on foot. The buffet breakfast was nice and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were lucky that the on-duty manager gave us a discount for the suite. It was off season so no one had booked that room, while an event had filled the others. The suite had a large open room, a kitchenette, a small TV, a comfortable large bed, a shower with a seat, and a small terrace with an amazing 360 view of Naples. No room photos, just views. A couple of access details are worth knowing. From the train station, get a taxi if you have heavy luggage. We walked, and the route is a bit uphill over lots of large cobblestones. You take an elevator up, then cross the courtyard, but there’s no elevator down to the rooms on the other side, only a steep set of spiral stairs. That’s the only way, even though the rooms are on the ground floor, and there are no external doors to go outside. Be very clear about any accessibility needs. I’d definitely recommend the place :)
