Sunset Bed And Breakfast

The triple room was spacious, tidy, clean, and nicely decorated in a modern style. Towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, and everything else I needed were there. Service was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent, very close to the train station. For a fairly low price, I got great service and a clean, perfectly good ensuite room. Highly recommended, and really good value!

The location was the only plus for me. This place had nothing sunset or breakfast about it. Don't call it a bed and breakfast when what you serve is just small packaged breakfast snacks that taste bad and aren't good for you. I didn't see any staff during my three days. No one was there at check-in, and I had to call to find out how to get the key. They hadn't even given us the number to call, so we had to look it up. The windows weren't very good either, and street noise was loud at night.

We hadn't booked this place ourselves. Our original B&B moved us here to Room 5. It was smaller than the room we'd reserved, but looked okay, so we stayed. "Mama" cleaned our room every day, which we appreciated, and "Papa" brought breakfast to us each morning, presumably because breakfast had been part of our original booking. He wouldn't have needed to do that if we'd stayed at the first place. The problem came at night. The wall behind the bookshelf opened onto a stairway in another building. There's a photo of that exact bookshelf in another review. People smoked on the other side every evening, and our room smelled of smoke each night. My kids had to breathe it in and started coughing during the day. I complained, but was told it was "impossible" until I asked them to come smell it themselves. They then understood, but wouldn't move us or refund the money. We eventually left for another hotel.

Quiet, spacious, clean room near the central station, with air conditioning.
