Domenico was delightful, kind, courteous, and available whenever we needed something, while never intruding. The room was SUPER CLEAN, as well as large, bright, modern, and equipped with every comfort. We also had a small kitchenette, which was ideal with our young children. The location made it easy to explore Naples on foot. We’ve just finished three days here and are thrilled with our choice. I don’t usually write reviews, but Terrazza Terzo Cardine is absolutely worth one. If we come back to Naples, we know where we’ll stay 😉

I’ve been coming to Naples every week for work for over two years. After months in some of the city’s best known 4- and 5-star hotels, I tried Terzo Cardine and haven’t looked back. It’s a great base for experiencing authentic Naples, right in the city center. The elegant property is carefully furnished, and the terrace is lovely for dinners and aperitifs with friends or colleagues. The owner runs it with real professionalism and is very available, as is his extremely friendly family.

The building has an elevator, and it’s only a few steps from central Via Toledo. The house has three bedrooms, each independent with its own bathroom and kitchen. Everything was new and immaculately clean. I stayed just two days and fell in love with the place. Even in February the weather was lovely, and I shared a glass of wine on the terrace, courtesy of Mimmo. It was all perfect, a real gem in Naples. I’ll definitely be back.

The real extra here is Mimmo’s warmth and hospitality. The place is new, clean, well organized, has everything you need, and offers very good value. It’s tucked on a side street off Via Toledo in the historic center, and though Naples is chaotic, the fifth floor of the "Terrazza Terzo Cardine" building is peaceful. There’s an elevator, too. Mimmo leaves a moka pot and coffee, so you can have your first cup on the terrace while the sun comes up over the neighborhood alleys and the cloister of San Martino. That saves you from waiting in line at the Professor's Bar, where they make the best coffee in Italy. Naples is another world, with its own rules, where nothing is simply best or worst, only superlative. Neapolitans stand out for bringing people together, being resourceful, and finding alternative solutions, turning what might seem like a limitation into a strength. Mimmo is one of the Neapolitans who makes Naples, especially the Spanish Quarters, better. Choose "Terzo Cardine Terrace" and let Naples and its people take care of the rest. What’s the end of the world elsewhere is the end of the world here, too.
