The room looked recently renovated and was clean, and the air conditioning worked really well. Valentina was accommodating, with clear self check-in instructions since we arrived around 8 or 9 PM. We had some trouble getting the room door open, but she was only a call away. She left free snacks and a bottle of water too. The shower’s hot water was a little hard to keep steady, and the kettle wasn’t clean. The stairs up to the main BnB looked old and a bit scary, although the room itself was newly renovated. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Napoli Centrale.

The room was acceptable, and it was good to have air conditioning. The bathroom was small. There are many homeless people in the area, and the building is in fairly poor condition.

This part of Naples is run down and feels rough, with lots of people living on the street. I booked through booking.com, where the only location detail was that it’s close to the train station. We tried to cancel when we arrived but couldn’t, so we ate the cost and left. I really don’t recommend it. I’ll try to add a photo of the area and the correspondence with the rental owner.

The outside and the area near the train station don’t look great, and it’s not somewhere to be at night. Inside, though, it’s a completely different story. What a nice place to stay!
