What a magical little find! I was looking for a pizza place in the neighborhood and came across this lovely hidden gem. I only got asked about all the masks references, but that made me laugh. Highly recommend the area, and a little rub on that nozzle!

Vico Fico al Purgatorio is a tucked-away narrow lane in Naples' old town, with colorful buildings and artisan shops that give a lovely glimpse of local life. The place feels full of the city's history and culture, and the sounds, sights, and tempting Neapolitan food aromas make it a pleasure to wander through. This characterful hidden gem captures Naples' charm and offers an intimate feel for the heart of the city.

Being part of a cultural tradition like this was really nice. It made me laugh hard, and I got to try wishing while holding its nose. It made me feel welcome in Naples. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, so you’ll definitely pass by it.

A place with rare, vibrant beauty. It feels magical, even a little esoteric. I highly recommend visiting and taking a selfie with a pulecenella.

An iconic spot in an iconic neighborhood, and there’s PULCINELLA.
