Corte Gabellone dimora storica

Corte Gabellone is clean and in a fantastic location. Alberto went above and beyond. When we arrived, he met us and showed us where we could park for free outside the ZTL, since the apartments are just inside the AZTL Gate/Centro storico. I also locked myself out with the keys inside. I was embarrassed that Alberto had to make a special trip to open the apartment door, and felt he should have charged me extra. He was very kind about it, and I learned my lesson: keep the keys with you even if you're only stepping out to the room entrance or patio. I'm not European and should have understood that. The room was large, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were clean, with great water pressure and hot water. Everything you need is there, including a safe for your belongings and A/C. My room had a little patio at the entrance where I could sit. There was no strange smell, mold, or anything like that. Alberto also gave us a voucher for coffee at a nearby bar, which made it fun to visit a local place. It felt safe for a woman traveling alone. I'll definitely book again and would recommend it to everyone without hesitation.
