Agriturismo Isola Verde

Beautiful house and fantastic scenery. The people were very nice, all local, authentic, and helpful.

The owners are friendly and extremely helpful, and even the cat is affectionate without getting in the way. It’s a lovely place to relax. The homemade breakfast comes in generous individual portions, with things like apple pie, ciambellone, croissants, and puff pastry twists. In summer the double pool is open, with water around 70 cm deep, so it’s suitable for adults and children. Guests can also use a pizza oven and a handy barbecue. There are rooms with bathrooms in the central stone building, independent but comfortable and charming, as well as mobile homes across the large grounds, among the meadows and olive grove. The property is about 20 minutes from Narni and 30 from Terni. The road there is narrow and has no lighting, but it’s very green and charming, especially in daylight.

We stayed on April 25th and found it a lovely place to take a break and recharge. The property is beautiful and kept immaculately, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Highly recommended.

The place itself is beautiful, and the location is enchanting, with clean rooms. But I can’t give it full stars because a few things didn’t sit right. I got the impression they were a bit too pushy about prices, especially as I’m sociable first and foremost. The bed was quite uncomfortable, with a mattress that really sagged. Fifty euros a night isn’t a lot, but people should still be able to sleep well. There was no proper breakfast, just croissants and assorted dry pastries, plus cappuccinos and water from the only machine. The welcome also felt lacking. Breakfast ended at 9:30 and checkout was at 10, which I don’t think is fair. Half an hour isn’t enough time for people to leave. The overall service needs improvement.
