La Fattoria Di Mamma Ro'

The layout gives everyone plenty of room: there’s a double bedroom, a room with a queen-size bed, another with two singles, and a living room with a double sofa bed. We also had a large kitchen-diner, a spacious balcony, and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. The room with the double bed and the bunk bed was huge, and the bunk bed was really comfortable. Outside, there’s a pool and a shared garden with the owner, plus a lovely spot near Itieli where you can grill and eat outdoors. The view is breathtaking, and breakfast included an excellent chocolate donut. Highly recommended.

We came back each day to such a peaceful setting, looking out over the mountains of Umbria and a less-known corner of Sabina. There’s plenty to explore nearby: the Sacro Speco is about a ten-minute drive or a little over two hours on foot, and Narni and Terni are under half an hour away. After an outing, the pool is great for cooling off. Anna welcomed us so warmly at Mamma'Ro Farm. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a big fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and a kitchen set up well for families, even large ones. Coffee was always ready. The balcony has a beautiful view across the mountains and valley. A lovely place to stay and a good base for excursions. We’d happily return. Thanks so much for the welcome cake and homemade bread!

We stopped here for two nights on the way back from Sicily and were met with a genuinely friendly welcome. After a long drive, the little pool was just right for unwinding, and it was nice that pets can stay on the property free of charge. We ended up eating in the private garden, looking over the pool, because it was such a lovely setting. The little house has pots and pans and even an oven. There are also nearby villages to explore and restaurants around. My one suggestion would be to offer a bit more variety at breakfast for guests staying more than one night. Otherwise, we’ll definitely come back.
